LC-830i electrical problem

Installed machine on demo, worked great for 2 days (fax forward/print/scan) then ceased to function; panel locked up (looks ready) - sometimes ADF exit rollers will just sit and spin, no key funcions (no service mode), replaced scanner board up top (same symptoms). Don't know if this is a SCNT board (image processor pcb?) issue, hoping it may be something simpler like an interlock / sensor. Not too much experience with these, hope someone has seen this.

Try to Reload the System Software/

or Hold down the STOP Key and power on machine.
