it is essential for us to know what happens when you do 1 copy off the glass
and what is the jam code you have been getting.

        Re: IR105 JAM AT EXIT

        Hello,

If the copier is not showing any Jam code, i guess that:

1- The copy has left all the machine delivery sensors.

2-There is no finisher. Otherewise, a jam code would be displayed.

Without taking out the paper, switch off and on the copier. Does it display a jam message ?

I send you an attachment to help you understand the different elements of the delivery system.

        Rachid.

I get the impression that you do not know how to access service mode and check I/O or jam codes.

Hi guys, hope everyone is fine. After a couple days trying get the solution to the problem i got a weired solution to the problem that has still left me puzzled.I managed to get another machine and swapped the fixing units. To my amazement, both units worked well on either machine and have closely monitored them for one week making large volumes of work. The machines are doing well in the field with no jams.Am yet to swap them back to original machines. Thanks very much for all your efforts and good luck.

Hmmm.....mmm! These Machines! COMPLEX problems, SIMPLE solutions! YET many a times, we don't seem to REALIZE this fact. We get bogged down with complex troubleshooting procedures in search of complicated solutions. It could be really as simple as teckat said; COPIER CONNECTION!
