KenB, that would be great! Right now I am trying to figure out how to edit the IP address of the printer. I've only been able to edit one of the two boxes, as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/t7Ebx.jpg ... Is there another way to do this?

As for the drivers, which one would be the correct driver? Canon U.S.A. : Support & Drivers : imageRUNNER 5000i

      Manufacturer Note:

You should make sure you have an 802.11n card in your PC. New generation routers (e.g., E2500) speak a different language than the 802.11g cards, so the E2500 is not optimized to work with that. This may affect your signal strength.

Chances are old router as 192.168.1.1 and new router is 192.168.0.1. Make sure you're in the same subnet, 192.168.1.1 will NOT be able to talk to 192.168.0.1 unless you have a real router. Home routers are NAT devices.
start> run > cmd > ipconfig on workstations to verify.

Also the 5000 is 10/100 and has no issues operating at either speed.

Seems to be major overcomplication of a trivially easy problem to fix. Just my 2 cents.

All you have to do is change the TCP/IP port address on your printer driver to 192.168.1.108 (computer side) and
change the ir5000 ip address also to 192.168.1.108 (on the machine).

And after changing iR5000's IP address to 192.168.1.108, remember to On/Off the hard switch at the side, NOT the one on top of the control panel.
