Check for condensation on the BD sensor
Check the connector of the BD detection PCB.
- Replace the laser scanner unit.
- Replace the DC controller PCB.

hi....the sm says(E100 0000 BD detection PCB failureThe BD detection PCB is faulty. - Check the connector of the BD detection PCB.

you have also to check the drum cart if it is in correct position..the dusty reflectors in laser scanner
may cause this error

If the shutter is not open on this model get only blank pages,not an error if i remember wright.

I've never encountered E100 error code in this model. I've deduced this by analogy with iR1600 model. So, You're, may be, right.
