Canon 5870C error code E79-002

Hi,

Today I went to my friends who have warehouse with bunch of copiers.
They tried to turn on Canon 5870C, but there was error E00079-002 and touch panel didn't react on touch.
Could someone please give me code explanation, and advice if this model is worth fixing? Or they should throw it in the trash.

This is code explanation by manual:


If there is an open circuit in the home position sensor of the
outside heating roller home position sensor, the state of the
sensor will be identified as being ON.
An error will be identified if the sensor fails to go off when
it is at a point where it must normally go on and the outside
heating roller shift motor is driven.

I'm not huge fun of this model
