Hi,
I've got a IR Adv. C5051 machine. It's 220V (EU version) machine and need to replace the dev. tanks all 4. I've got a very good offer for the tanks from US but I can see the part nos are different. Any body can advise if the US version tanks will work in EU version machine.
TIA
What part numbers do you have?
I can't see any region-specific part numbers in the manual.
Does any one have the part number for the cable harness between the developer and the drawer? I see in figure 600 of the parts catalog that they show the part but there is no number.

Herrmann, The frequency is not the issue in the modern machines.
Teckat thanks for your details. My only concern is about any special notch or any DV unit chip related to region...
Called Canon , they can't support (won't reveal) if USA 120V DV unit will work in 230V EUR Model

Maybe not the Voltage but the Powerfrequency is essential here. Europe 50HZ, USA 60HZ. If the maschine takes the Power Frequency as a basis to generate the Bias Frequency, you will run into Problems. I have no clue, if this method is still in use, in fact, it WAS in the late 80's. We have had a lot of hassle with cheap usa toner here in germany due to this fact.

Be Smart/ call Canon for proper information
there are no usual notes in US Manual to indicate for use in 220v machines
