How to reset to factory settings for canon IR3300

    Dear All,

I'm having IR3300. Please find the enclosed attachment. In that you can clearly see the print output is faded in the beginning (left side) and okay in the second half (right side). Previously I got good print outputs. Now, I'm not sure why I'm getting like this. So please advise me, is there any way to reset my machine to the default factory settings??

        Agreed.

A factory reset is not a good idea, Ever. There's a lot of data lost that must be re-entered.

On organic drums the response from the drum becomes darker with age. If you've got 100K+ on the drum start by replacing the drum. It's been a while since I've seen this model, but if the image is still bleeding through from the other side after the drum replacement I would go Service Mode > Adjust > Develop > DE-OFST for minor image quality adjustments. My apologies if I missed a keystroke. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          I just gone there ......

Service Mode > Adjust > Develop > in that....
          my copier shows .... DE-DC 30 and
          DE-OFST 130
is this correct ?? or I need to adjust the values to get the correct printouts. thanks

            DE-DC
Use it to enter the adjustment value for the DC component of the develop-
ing bias within the image area.
Range of 0 to 255 (a higher setting generates lighter images)
            adjustment
Caution If you have replaced the DC controller PCB, be sure to enter the settings
            indicated on the service label.
            DE-OFST
Use it to enter the offset value for the DC component of the developing
            bias.
Range of 0 to 255 (a higher setting generates lighter images)
            adjustment
Caution • be sure to keep the setting between +30 and -30.
            • If you have replaced the composite power supply PCB, be sure to enter
the settings indicated on the label attached to the new PCB (case).

Check the values on the service label inside the front door.
