    canon np 6560

hello out there, I have this np6560 with the rdf-d1 that when you put multiple originals and use the right feed it won't stop copying. Any ideas? Thanks

the first thing i would look at is doc.detect unit (black flags that come around and hit the paper on rear side of a original copies)on the tray if it does not go to home position it will just keep running the copies thru..
the part number for the unit is FG2-6776-000 the end of one side is folked and it will brake off...

Kwasimoto is right on the mark:

Continues recopying same originals endlessly. Broken recycle motor shaft for flags. Temporarily slip an 8 mm long section of thermistor wire covering over the shaft/motor linkage to keep both parts aligned. Replace shaft for flags next call (FC2-1500-000).

This is a good repair. I've had machines run a year or more with just that little piece of rubber tubing holding it together.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
