Whistling noise from M2 on iR3245

Some spoiled customer has a subcontract with us for a iR3245.
Copier works fine but recently has a whistling noise (which apparently is unbearable for the boss).

Anyway I went to check (without tools) and it is hard to tell where exactly is the noise coming from.
I did a motor check and it was M2 (the main motor).

I wouldn't like to go back and tear apart half of the copier.

Anyone had this issue and a Short-Cut solution ?

    Thnx...

clutch or main drive assy...., replace one by one of clutch to find the fault. I have found this issue come from registration clutch

yeah like on 4570 CL3 registration clutch. The main Drive assem can also develop a squeak on these. You should remove the the main drive per the SERVICE MANUAL. And just oil up everything you can. Put it back on and the squeak will be gone. Unless Cl3 Needs to be replaced.

The other place for a whirling or squeak noise is actally towards the front, registration roller (inside) main unit. The little metal feeler that rides on the steel rod needs some die electric grease.
