Can you hear a clunking noise from the right door during warm up or copying?

If you can hear a clunking noise not a chicken "clucking" then your fixing unit is bad, the rollers get flat spots causing the noise & will cause jamming.

the jamming occur while the copy starts to leave the fixing unit before arriving the exit senosr ps14

                        Re: Jamming in IR 3170CI

This could be a problem with the 3-Way unit flapper. SL2 on the unit opperates the flapper to either pass the paper straight through for single side or divert it around for duplex printing/copying. If this has come out of place or sticks it will delay the paper getting to the delivery assy.

There have been a couple of similar posts for machines using the same 3-Way which I have posted below.

                        Hope this may help.

As u already know PS14 is delay sensor, the paper cannot get over to PS14 on time.
This may be due to -
The fixing (heater unit) get jammed (due to jamming of fuser roller bearing)
u must check fuser unit for free rotation by rotating the green knob of fuser unit
if it is heavy on rotation then bearings are gone, replace them.

You can verify the state of the deivery sensor (PS14) in: Service mode>I/O>DCCON>P002 bit 5.1: paper present.
