Re: Print driver for imagePass M2 on MAC OS 10.6.8
Just a thought or two:
Try downloading and installing Command Workstation for your Mac; version 4, not 5. (Version 5 won't support your RIP.)
Convert all your print files to pdf (which your OS will do natively), and use Command Workstation to download the files. You may (or may not) get all the features.
The issue is that your RIP and copier are not fully supported with that new a version of CWS, especially on a Mac.
Keep in mind that it's only relatively recently that CWS was supported at all on the Mac OS platform.
Or...
The imagePASS M3 does support OSX 10.5, and the drivers can be downloaded from Canon. Again, absolutely no guarantees, but worth a shot.
Re: Print driver for imagePass M2 on MAC OS 10.6.8
the last PPD that was released for this imagepass was for OS.x 10.4
It does not look like you are going to get the customers newer Mac to talk to this older imagepass
And more ....
I have a 8500 with imagePASS M2 iR that should be installed in a Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
They are the PPD for this operating system?
