Canon ir 5055 showing error E100-001, tried to reset it, but no avail, changed laser unit and Dc board, still some times it still shows up,open the front door and close it, machines start working,but error again shows up afer a few thousand copies, wht could be the problom, pls help.thnaks in advance.

the front cover switch is the problem make sure that the shutter of the front cover is closing normally , trouble shoot it bye puting a a flat screw drive on the switchDistinguished road makes you jewel in rough

Check the process unit cover. There is a pin pressing on the laser shutter. Maybe a screw is missing or broken shutter?

have you chick the sensor maybe there is broken part in side just review where you start to open...Comment
