IR2200 Firmware Install?

Hey,

I am pretty new to copier stuff and I was wondering how to get and install firmware for the Canon IR2200. I am trying to get info for turning my copier into a fax as well. (http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...-fax-help.html) I've been told that I need updated firmware, But ive also been told that I dont..... Please Help

Call a certified Canon technician. This is not a job for an amateur.

Thanks, but we already tried that. We called are copier guys, they don't even know what we are talking about. I volunteer at a non-profit Volunteer Medical clinic. We don't have the funds to call canon to get them to install the fax broad and the firmware. That is why I posted this post.
