Had this error on a 52xx series about 4 weeks ago, laser shutter was stuck...simple as...dont know why it didnt open...not sure if this helps

Not too bad to change...just when you deal with the pivot for the controller box. I removed the pin from the hinge and let it kinda hang there. The pieces of tape on the frame work good instead of replacing process frame piece as per bulletin if arcing is the cause..I have also had metal triangle shaped bracket at the rear of shutter that is used to open shutter get bent. Personally I would remove the shutter from the colour associated first. Swapping laser assemblies to see if error moves to other laser nails it down. If still erroring at same colour then I would tape the frame to prevent arcing on the erroring color's dev assembly.
