    iR c3220 error code E000580-0000

I am a pretty good Graphic Designer, and a fairly lousy tech. That being said, my iRc3220 is giving me the error code E000580-0000, and is telling me to turn the machine off then on. Have done it many times, with no luck. Any clue as to what the issue might be? Just want to be sure it is not something reasonably simple to fix, before I spend the $$$ to have a real tech come out.

    Thanks!

    IR3220 problem

IF you have an E1 finisher on it, the E580 error is most likely related to the stack tray lift motor. Try disconnecting the finisher. That means pulling it away from the copier and unplugging the cable from the back of the copier. Turn the copier back on. This won't solve your problem, but you should be able to use the copier until a tech can have a look at it.

Thanks! Seems to be the solution.

Ahhh, makes sense as we were going out to see a client, I started a (1000) piece run on 11 x 17, and as we got back it was sounding awfully strained in the finisher. I am resetting as directed, and also moving the finishing tray to be sure it hasnt become stuck on a sensor, and to see if the tray is level.

      Thanks for you great help!
