IR2200 with E733 code after changing fuser and cleaning scan rails

IR2200 had e00002 code 3 weeks ago which came back this week. Changed fuser unit today and ran copies. All was good except for friction noise from scanner unit. Removed glass and cleaned and lubed scan rails. Ran copies and noise gone. Customer called 2 hours later to say getting E000733. I asked if anything happened just before the code and customer said he just went over to machine to make copies and it said "waiting to print" "waiting to copy".
I understand that this is a print communication code or some communication problem between main and dc controllers. Could I have caused this in anything that I did as machine was working okay for 3 weeks before e2 code which has nothing to do with e733? If I am replace fuser and cleaning scan rails is there a connector I might loosen which could cause the e733?Any help is appreciated as I must return in morning. Frank

    could be MN-CON version
    bad MN-CON or DC-CON
    Main power supply PCB

All of these are listed as solutions to the error you are getting and has nothing to do with the service you performed. I have had the controllers cause this issue personally.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

It just seems so coincidental that I was just there 2 hours before it happened and no indications in last 3 weeks other than fuser (e2) codes. Frank

E000733-0001, or "Check Power Source" indication after 1 print. The error resets, and reoccurs 3 to 4 times per day. It starts Immediately after set-up on the customer site. Electrical noise from the AC wall power passes through the line filter (surge protector), the switching regulated PCB (AC power supply), and the HV power supply, interrupting communication between the main controller and the DC controller. Replace the HV power supply (FG6-5773-000) and the switching regulated PCB (FH3-2613-020) as a set. The new style power supplies seem to do a better job of filtering out the noise.

It might be cheaper to get the AC power fixed. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks David. There is a surge protector and one difference from last 3 weeks is that there was 5 ft of water on first floor from Hurricane and though machine is on 2nd floor there is no heat and customer has large space heater. Don't know if on same line but i guess it is worth looking into. If something happened to AC PS due to voltage fluctuation I may need to determine if something like the space heater is causing it to avoid repeating problem. Frank

REMOVE that Space Heater from outlet/ it will disrupt and draw down voltages

if fact u need to see what else is loaded on outlet/ it's not always visible on the floor of printer/ ask building electrician

For once we agree. Take the power quality analyzer out there just for laughs. When they were running he generator outside our building it was producing ground to neutral voltages over 29VAC! The copier errored out immediately. =^..^=

                  Hello,

Disconnect the finisher (if there is one) and try. The finisher control PCB circuit breaker may be off.
