I have a canon 3080.

I change blue drum and now when I start the machine gives me error e000020 0012

what is the problem?

E020-0010 can be displayed when the patch level is higher than the upper limit of the target although it is set as the minimum in initializing Yellow ATR.
E020-0011: Magenta, E020-0012: Cyan, E020-0013: Black

Workaround :
1. Check to see if the ATR shutter comes off; if so, re-fit it.

2. Wipe the ATR sensor window with a damp cotton cloth.

3. If the symptom still occurs, replace the ATR sensor with a new one.

What was the issue before changing the Cyan drum?

If E020 0010 was not displayed before, Then the new drum may be faulty.

E020 0010 Indicates that the Yellow patch level is higher than the upper limit. The Cyan drum has nothing to do with this error code. I ask the same question: What was the issue before changing the Cyan drum? Why did you change it?

I agree with Rachid, what was the problem before replacing Cyan - check Drum Life - Copier > Display > Misc, if they read more than 100% then replace them - if not, remove the front cover of the toner housing and vacout the sensors.

the image is Good on the ITB Belt ??
but the finished copies are light or washed out.

Check the Bias Tabs on the ITB Belt assembly and the Secondary Transfer Roller. They may be bent or broken and not making contact. Repair or replace the contact that is broken.

check secondary transfer roller. /

The contact should be touching the bottom side of the shaft of the secondary transfer roller.

1. Remove the screw and then remove the black plastic contact holder shown below.

2. Verify that the contact is touching the bottom side of the shaft of the secondary transfer roller as shown in the photo below. If it is not reform the contact so that it is touching the shaft.





Also Ensure that the ITB ground wire is firmly attached at HVT2 and the grounding screw at the ITB frame.

monday I recived the pieces, fk2 0494 000 (sensor ) and fc6 9166 000 (holder contact) and change the black drum. and the machine work right. but today the copies are light again.


maybe the machine don't apport toner inside??
