    [Misc] iR5070 Scaned PDF Documents Re-Printing get Hung up....

    Have a iR5070 scanning to email in PDF thru Windows Server 8.
    When they go to print the PDF file that was just scanned back to the
    iR5070 it adds to the file making it larger then stalls in spooling to the iR5070.
    Only 10 pages but has no problem printing to the iR5000 older copier....???

    Using a PS3 Driver on both machines. printer ports
    on both machines identical (Not IP of course)... Protocol using LPR

    Im doing a system software upgrade tomorrow on the iR5070 I hope that works ....

      Exactly which scan settings are used/defaulted. Specifically compressed PDF or OCR? Color or B&W? DPI? Text/Photo? What happens if you scan only a single page? What is the resulting file size per page?

      Have you tried changing any of these settings? That's where I would start. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          I'll take a look today. but it prints to the older iR5000 fine.....?

              I have no solution for you, but I have seen something similar.
              We had an account with a 5570 and a 5070 printing fine for years on a Citrix envoironment.
              Then they upgraded network, and suddenly the newer machine would print real slow (like a page every 10 seconds or so)
              It printed fine from direct drivers, but not through the network

              We upgraded software, changed controllers, captured packets, and then then exchanged the machine.
              Sure enough it printed just as slow.
              If I were in charge I would have given them a 5570 like the one that works OK, but the Management gave them a 5070 which printed slow, exactly like the one it replaced.
              There is something better about those older controllers

              Try a different driver for the problem machine

                  Yeah i hear on that one put in something that will make a profit now but screw the customer and tech.....!
                  Then cost the dealer more in the end because real service cost are seen at the end of the year or a long time after. Yeah they spell it SMRT

                      But the update on this thing...
                      is now i find out there not even using the iR5070 to scan there using a Fujitsu s1500 desk to joby to scan to email then emailing it to them selves then crossing networks and printing....what a cluster F**K let you guys know what happens...
