[Dead] canon iradv2020 colour mc dead

I have a canon iradv 2020 colour machine that is dead apart from red led on main controller and green light on ops panel. Memory chips have been removed cleaned and reseated. Control panel does not light up apart from the green led light. I have been told that this model has known fault on mn controller but I can not find any info from canon relating to this. Has anyone heard about this problem on this model or had this problem themselves.Is the info I have received correct or does anyone else have any other ideas

Try This had it happen a couple of times but only with old firmware,

Each time I had this issue it has been the SATA Flash PCB. The cause was actually the low voltage pwr - and Canon sent out a free replacement PB for each machine - we bought the PCBs though.

like costd said...the low voltage power suplly causes various problems. ie error codes too
