    [Jamming] canon irc 3080

Jam codes 010C mostly and 010D I was not smart enough to touch the jam screen and my manual doesn't show the 0C 0D jam sensor I know its a delay jam when duplexing . Ive replaced the upper right door and this didn't help. It seems it's jamming when the lead edge of the duplexed paper reaches the yellow guide on the fuser. I did not feel any obstructions but I get a z fold in the paper. Single sided runs like a champ.

010C jam code occurring only when duplexing.

In cases, it was found that a paper guide at the top section of the right door was stuck in the upwards position and would not allow the paper to enter this area after the paper was reversed. Check the images below in reference to this guide in both positions. The top image is the "correct" position and the bottom picture is the "wrong" position.

I always take those pads out do to problems with the 3570 models. I also replaced that entire upper unit, because of a warped looking intake guide.

Do the machine have a finisher?

Do you have systematic Jams ?
Have you tried another type of paper ?
            Try with A4R size.

Yes there is a sorter. And yes it jams in the same place on 8x14 11x17 8x11 just as the lead edge touches the yellow fuser guide.

I had a similar fault & it was the finisher causing it, this was an internal finisher Z1.
Try removing the finisher & cheat the paper out full sensor then try a double side print.
