    Canon IR 550

Good day everyone. I am new to the canon line so i have a lot to learn. I have ir 550 that is giving me a E-066 code, i have replaced both transfer and charge assemblys and still no resolve what elase should i check or can i turn the cleaning cycle off so that autoclean will not activate. This copier is used for short term rentals as in 2 to 5 days so i can clean the coronas when needed. If there is something i am missing please let know , I do appreciate the help. thanks to all.

Look for a shorted or pinched wire on the backside of connector J12D under the operation panel. Cut the two nearest tie wraps to connector J12D (or possibly J124D).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
