    [Dead] advanced 5045

I'm having issues with a Canon advanced. The machine goes through rotation, but the display never lights up, and the machine does not fully boot. I'v tried a new hdd, and controllers, 1 and 2, and swapped the ram. I did have another one earlier that cont 2 solved, it didn't go into rotation, and developed an hdd error code after the controller was changed, and reloading firmware solved it, but not this one. I'm sure some other poor soul has wrestled with this and would like to hear any feedback or suggestions! Thank's in advance!

BTW, the machine does not print or operate in any way, so it's beyond a display issue!

      Hi,

Any chance of wiring being clamp when covers are closed? Remove the whole process units and check laser units wiring, by chance being grounded?

          Hi to all,

Note that there two possible self-diagnosis:

Read the attached PDF which gives information about the self diagnosis.

Did you meter the PSU outputs, esp. the 24V ones?
