[Misc] IR5000i system software V9.01

I hate to ask for software here, but since this a very old version I hope you guys don't mind.
I have several IR5000i's, with dying hard drives, which don't have the Controller Upgrade Kits and will not accept any newer version of system software. Upon investigation, I found that the newest version they will accept is 9.01. I don't have access to any controller upgrade kits, so I need to try and find software they like. Does anyone have an older version, 9.01 or earlier, that they could please post for me? I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks a lot in advance.

the 5000i is an A2 type controller. It was released after the A1 controller was "upgraded". You should be able to install the 48.02 which came out back in 2009 wihtout any issues.

No, I did try to load 48.02, but it fails. At first it warns me that the machine does not have the upgrade kit and if I proceed anyway, the machine gets 746 error code which indicates the wrong software. Thank you for the input.

I think he is right V9.01 is the latest we have posted.

5000i/ with no kit
v9.01 came out in 1/2005
before that was v8.01 in 8/2004


u need to look in the C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files\iR5000i_v48.02 folder for
iR5000i_v48.02\iR5000iN_v09.01

the v48.02 has the v9.01 firmware folder in it> when unzipped> & downloaded to C:\Canon File Folder\SST System Software Folder\SST Files

it was probably never registered in SST when u or someone registered the v48.02

it was part of the original v48.02 firmware folder/

original release was in a ISO file u burned to a CD/ or purchased from Canon in 2008-
Canon no longer requires or publishes the ISO

Hi,

I have an access to firmware downloads but i can not find ver 9.01 there. we have a customer with IR5000i which we have upgraded to ver 48 and now E746 is there. Can anybody help me with download location for ver 9.01?

IR5000i-v45,01 is my oldest.
