Canon IR C5051 need service mode info needed also fuser error code

Hello, I have a Canon IR C5051 with 138K Copies with an error E000075-0103. This a machine is on a new contract and I need to service it but need to know how to get into service mode, if anyone would help with that.
I belive ths is a fuser area issue which I will have to go out tomorrow and look at.
Could anyone tell me also how long these fusers go?
    Thanks

This is NOT a Fuser Error, it is a Transfer Belt Tracking Error either to the Front or the Rear, there are Tech Bulletins on this and I suggest you contact a Canon Dealer or if you are do some research before going to the Site. The Fusers just keep on going.

e075. ITB displacement error. Chances are there's a bearing in the ITB that seized and is chipping away at the roller and causing it to lose spacing.
copier > Function> Misc-p > ITB-init then you'll check under copier > display > misc and you want your ITB reading to be between -100 and +100.

Running the itb init 3 times, take your ready, run it three more times. If the number is swaying greatly I'm pointing at the cracked bearing or your black feet underneath the copier are not completely flat.

you will need to remove the itb. Put it on a table, handle towards you. You want to left on the front left side as you turn the motor to turn the belt. You'll need to do this for a good minute until the belt is equally in the center.

They did release an ITB improvement kit for these machines fm4-8409-000

Hope this helps I'm sure teckat will post a bulletin from the states later today describing the problem more.

          Various E075 Causes--TP10-2.pdf
          FM4-8409-000_Install.pdf

          E075
error code refers to the ITB belt shifting front to rear of the machine and can not compensate. There are two causes that will make this happen.
          a) The machine that is not level
          b) Uneven thickness of the ITB belt from front to rear.

To resolve this issue, first observe the ITB Position value of displacement in service mode under Copier > Display > Misc > ITB-POS. The range is between -300 to +450. If the value is very close to the high end or low end, perform the following:

          a) Check to make sure that the machine is level.
          b) After leveling the machine, run Copier > Function > MISC-P > ITB-INT in service mode
          c) Check Copier > Display > MISC > ITB-POS again to make sure the value is approximately within the mid range
          d) If the value in step c is not within mid range, remove the ITB belt and reverse it from front to rear and repeat the prior steps again.

            CCI bulletin about this e-code
            N08-021-5.pdf

All of my codes have been caused by the rolle ron page 5 of this bulletin. You can see the shaft has actually been chipped out and reduced in thickness. It's enough that it can't steer the belt enough and will code out.

Many many thanks to you guys for the help! I am going there today with another tech with this information and will report back within the next few days. I was there yesterday and since I didn't have a level with me, I used a chapstick to check to see if the machine was level and it rolled very fast towards me and then also it rolls fast to the right when placed in that direction, so the machine is totally not level. I am going to have to find a way to jack the machine up so I can lower the feet after checking the ITB and effecting the repairs.

There's black standoffs that you're supposed to level at install. Bring a level make sure you're level front to back and side to side. If you're level and you're still getting e075 then look at that roller I had mentioned. Other than that peachy machine. Had no real issues other than that, normal fusers (getting way over yeilds, bout damn time) drums and tires.

You can get a smart phone APP spirit level, it's not as 100% accurate but pretty damn close!
