[CQ] canon ir1025 cq bleeding on trail edge side of bold areas

This machine has genuine toner, new Canon drum and oem new developer unit and still puts out a repeated image lighter than the primary image about 2mm from the primary image on the trail edge side. This is most noticeable in bold areas where there is a lot of black. It makes the image look blurry. Has anyone had this problem on this machine.

    Thanks

What's the count on the machine? Could it possibly be fuser related?

      post an example image

      is this when using ADF

How are test prints ? and Glass Prints if ADF does not apply ?

Remove the Transfer Assembly from the imageRUNNER and inspect the ground tab on the bottom of the assembly. -make sure Ground Tab clip did not fall off leaving the Grounding Tab unsecured.

It does it on prints as well. I have stopped the machine (panick stopped) and it has the problem before reaching the fuser. The transfer idea sounds more possible.

        Thanks.

Please see image in attachment. This is not happening in the fuser. I stopped the machine before it reached the fuser and it has this image right off the drum. copy or print

Please see my attachment. This is copy or print. This copier has 64K on it. Have you ever seen anything like this.

if image is on DRUM before transfer >
                check>

replace Image processor and/or replace the Laser Unit.

Problem solved, and the winner is Teckat (ground was in fact missing under tranfer guide assembly and caused the problem). I used a paper clip and used the screw already there to thread it in until new part comes in.

Thanks to all that helped, all gave alot of good info.
