    Hello,

Verify that the staple cartridge is well installed.

Other than a late e-code this is all that will cause this. Well from my experience anyways. If it still does it nuke the firmware but chances are rachid's bang on

Also check the fixing feeder & rear connectors inside the main unit for jammed pieces of paper.

Is the fixing unit getting warm?

          --------------------------------------

I hope u have printed out P PRINT SETTINGS/ to put back into printer

Improper actuation of SW7 can cause a 'suspend' message on the Control Panel.
Switch SW7 actuates when the Fixing Feeder Drawer Handle engages.
Check I/O address P-CON P005 Bit 11.When the Drawer engages properly, Bit 11 is 0, otherwise it is 1. Bit 11 should change states as the Drawer is engaged and disengaged.
If Bit 11 does not change from a '1' state, check SW7 located at the Fixing Feeder Engagement Handle.

          Switch SW7 connects to the DC Controller at J106 A1 (ground/return) & A12 (12Vdc).
          When SW7 actuates, there should be continuity between J106 A1 & A12.
If 12Vdc is not present at J106 A12, check the continuity of fuse FU18 on the dc controller. If FU18 is blown, check for a short in the wiring from the DC Controller to SW7.
If FU18 is blown, replace the DC Controller after repairing the shorted wire for SW7.

          also check____

if the Front Door Switch is losing 24 volts on one of its leads.
The front Door Switch, (SW2) should have 24 volts going to both leads with the door closed. As a result, the 'Copy Suspend Message' will appear during a copy run. Replacing the Rush Current PCB may resolve the issue. The Rush Current PCB supplies voltage to the Door Switch, (SW2). The part number for the Rush Current PCB is FG6-4978-030.
