[Jamming] Canon PC 940 jam light won't clear

ok , i can't believe i'm even posting this, but if i can fix it i may have a decent sale coming out of this.

checked all sensors , registration and fuser all clear and operating i only see 2 in the machine am i missing anything here.

i think i remember a while back that if the thermistor went, it would do something like this and not clear..

i haven't worked on one of these in a loooong time.....lol....

Power up> remove cover>Unplug connectors on DC CONTROLLER one at a time/ see if jam indicator goes out >

I've had the yellow fixing shutter warp & obstruct the exit sensor arm & that arm too can crack/break & are you sure the reg sensor arm is moving feely & that there is not a pile of toner in the sensor?

Theres a sensor in the bypass assembly of all places. I've had them get knocked out of place and that will give a false jam code.

thanks lads , it was the bypass sensor little bugger was knocked out of position..
man i can't believe i didn't see that....oh well its "miller time"...i'm buying......lol...
