    [CQ] iRC 3380 yellow overtone

    I got 2 irc3380 machine

1 of them has a problem look at the image I posted
the 2 first pics is normal
    20130330180421_00001.jpg20130330180421_00002.jpg
and The other 2 pics is problem
    20130330180421_00003.jpg20130330180421_00004.jpg
    So I Try
    1. switch drum unit and ITB unit from normal machine but the result is the same
    2. Try all drum unit and ITB unit from problem machine to fine one result is the same
so i conclude that drum and itb is normal
    3. I try to adjust valve in Dens + color nothing change
    4. I'm gonna check Laser unit

IF anyone got opinion I glad to hear that..

    thank you for all tech

PS. all part and toner is genuine I got to told cause someone too scare OEM.

    did u check the COPIER>ADJUST>PASCAL setting ???
    " " " " COPIER>ADJUST>COLOR settings ??
make sure they are not sitting on default settings of "0"

do u have a P PRINT with the original factory settings ???

    LASER
These components are constructed as a single entity (scanner unit), and are controlled by the DC controller.

overtone is on YELLOW from Glass Copy page and on Internal Print page--

      Hello Teckat

I have check the COPIER>ADJUST>PASCAL setting and COPIER>ADJUST>COLOR settings is all 0
then i check another fine one is 0 all in color but pascal is -2 -2 -1 0 so i adjust valve follow that one and I try to adjust den and color in LEV2 but it doesn't work
The point is I had no valve of machine there's nothing but the laser valve at the front cover

so I try to adjust Pascal + Dens + Color it's better but still not normal
[some gray area still too yellow and women skin too but the other low density area is fine]
What should i do cause it seem wrong the other machine have a normal valve and it find.

I am try to study more and still work on it

      Thank you for your advice

that is your issue/ those numbers can not be "0" left at default value

        COPIER>ADJUST>COLOR
ADJ-Y/M/C/K=Adjust the color balance of Y/M/C/K colors for users.
        Setting range: -8 to 8

OFST-Y/M/C/K=Adjust the density and color balance of the bright part of Y/M/C/K colors
        Setting range: -32 to 32

LD-OFS-Y/M/C/K =Adjust the color balance of low density area.
        Setting range: -8 to 8
        level 2

MD-OFS-/Y/M/C/K =Adjust the color balance of middle density area.
Be sure not to use this item in normal operation. (recommended setting value: -1)
        level 2

HD-OFS-Y/M/C/K Adjust the color balance of high density area.
Be sure not to use this item in normal operation. (recommended setting value: -2)
        level 2

        COPIER>ADJUST>PASCAL

        OFST-P-Y/M/C/K
=Use it to apply offset adjustment on the test print reading signal (Y) for PASCAL control at time of auto gradation correction (full).
        Method of Adjustment=
        - a higher setting will make the image darker after auto gradation correction (full).
Range of Adjustment: -128 to +128 [Factory default/After RAM clear: 0]

someone cleared DCON/RCON without printing out a P PRINT that is a NO>NO

look into this pdf for some DCON & RCON settings that need to be put back---for u that will be a trial & error process
        see this PDF---------

Inside the front door should be a label with all the factory settings, re-enter all of them, then to a full auto gradation that should fix it.
