How do u expect a printer to function without a hopper
post the correct error codee020 ?
check the developer unit auger
E020 = The error code occurs when the developing assembly toner sensor (TS1) indicates no toner is detected in the developing assembly while the hopper toner level sensor (TS2) indicates toner is present in the sub hopper. After approximately 388 seconds the error code will display.
The toner sensors can be checked in I/O mode. To check the TS1 sensor go to I/O>DC-CON>P021 bit 1. Toner being detected will indicate "1." The TS2 sensor can be checked at I/O>DC-CON>P030 bit3. Toner being detected will indicate "1."**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

Re: IR3045 image fading
MR. Teckat, when the machine shows the error code of E20 0000 I discussed with one of my friend, he told me that toner may be clogged in the hopper assembly. so i decided to check the hopper assembly. Now the error code is gone, the problem is light copy. top side of the paper is blank paper and the bottom is ok. the same problem when is giving print also. scanned image is attached herewith. I hope you may solve my problem.RegardsBinesh
DID U CHECK THE IMAGE ON THE DRUM BEFORE TRANSFER(do a panic stop)
Image Density Is Light on the Rear Side of the Copy
Re-seat transfer roller and confirm correct pressure.
Check the front and rear transfer arms for proper positioning// each end of the transfer roller should "spring back" after being pressed. If the roller is not positioned correctly, check that the springs on each end are in place.
I fthere is a bind from a metal roller in a plastic bracket, it is recommended to replace the plastic part as it may have been damaged and will allow the symptom to return.
also---Make sure the developing assembly is receiving correct cam pressure.
(check the bushings)
Check Dev spacers**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment
