The sensor flag wears down changing the actuation point for PS9.


Replace pre-registration flag (FC5-0484-000)

no jam code...only on dislpay screen show to open right door just check and release the paper ....

I also suspect that it might be the tray size settings but if that proves fine then perhaps your fuser film has stalled. What you will notice is that if you pull the fuser assembly (5 screws & 3 electrical connectors) the fuser film will not rotate as you hand-spin the fuser drive gear. Solution: replace fuser film and spend the time to remove the old grease before you regrease the fuser heater core.

If you put the metal covers on these you will not have to replace this flag. The 3025 Generation got them and on up. Part number is fc7-9370

The metal covers go over the sensor flag pictured in the picture showing a worn out flag.

this might help. the new flapper dampers are white, not black.

that only helps if its a duplex jam and paper would be past fuser. However it is always a good place to look and update!!!!!!!!!!

can u show me where is the place....

open the right door and you will notice a flapper that lifts on the door and two little black sponge-like things with dents. Take a small screwdriver and roll it over the dampers to make them more flat. This will solve your problem for the short term.
