Unfortunatly I am not at the clients site, this is what I have done so far, installed another new belt unit from another Canon Advance C5045 copier (which is brand new copier) and works perfectly, streaks appear horizontally down the pages, all colors streaking, can this problem be the secondary transfer belt, it cant be ITB cleaning belt because I put a whole unit from other copier with the cleaning assembly and it worked perfectly

              are you copying or printing
There are images and writing in the background.
I thought they were offsetting from the previous page, but I cannot find a duplicate.

If you are copying, make a copy from the glass, check th difference.
              Do your CCD adjustments,
You may have to adjust your scanned image density also.

You're saying this machine is brand new? So it's not likely to be anything drum/dev/transfer related.

                Check your lasers.

I've been lurking these forums since I started as a technican, and I think it would be a good idea for anybody working on Canon products to have a p-print handy for these types of situations. If you are a Canon certified tech they will ask you for one when you call in anyway.

These are printed copies only, ccd adjust doesnt make sense since it is not a scannex copy, im leaning towards secondary outer tranfer roller as i installed a different good working itb unit fron another copier and it also didnt work

Cleaned secondary transfter roller outer, print quality is 70 percent better, but still streaks, is the dustproof glass the ones that you clean with the supplied blue cleaning wand, can see the dustproof glass in the service manual

Yes the wand is used to clean the dustproof glass above the laser.

I am still curious about that faint image I see in the background with pictures and reverse writing.
Did you scan a double sided copy ?

I should also mention that I have had issues before where the patch sensors are dirty and have cause weird issues like the because the machine was unable to succesfully lay patches down on the ITB and read back. Try taking the shutter off, or just manually moving it with your finger and cleaning the patch sensors with a damp cloth. I have found the shutter to be broken on a lot of these machines.
