    Canon ir2018i - Reservation Mode

Had a customer call and says their copier is stuck in "Reservation Mode". Turn it off/on and it will print about 5 pages and then go into "Reservation Mode" again.

Performing a D-RAM Test in service mode may resolve this issue.
To perform the D-RAM Test, follow the steps below.

      1)Enter service mode

2)Scroll to "TEST MODE", hit the "OK" button. The display will show "TEST MODE [1] - [9]".

      3)Hit the "1" key. The display will show "DRAM [1] - [2]".

4)Hit the "1" key again. This display will show "DRAM TEST xxxxxKB" and the DRAM test will begin.

*After the test, the display will say "Complete (no error)".

5)After the first DRAM Test completes, hit the "Stop" key, the screen will go back to "DRAM TEST [1] - [2]".

6)This time hit the "2" key and the 2nd DRAM Test will be performed.

If an error is shown for either test, the memory may need to be replaced.
