    Help with error code

Hi, can anyone please help me. I have just got hold of a Canon FC 5. It refuses to pick up any paper. I get the paper jammed light, with the display flashing E6 !!!! any thoughts please. There is no paper jammed inside.
I was told it was in working order, and have just spent $ 150 on a new toner cartridge.

E6 is an image processor problem or possibly hard drive (if it has one). This may be pertinent: Product Advisories

From this article these machines were manufactured between 1986 and 1993. This is to say that your machine is between 15 and 22 years old. I would be very surprised if any parts or supplies are available. Let it die.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Hi,
Also E6 is caused sometimes by a damaged scanning lamp.
