the scan image is printed from computer by pass tray 12 x18 paper coated text shiny gloss not by copy glass
i scan the image 8 x 11

when u Scan Glossy >Shiny Paper_ it's just like placing a Glossy Photo on Glass & getting those same results>

try PHOTO MODE & or placing a OHP transparency film on Glass> then place Glossy document on top of it/
this acts like a screen to diffuse the image

i used scaner (hp 3470) to scan the printed out paper c3220012img.jpg
that printout paper print from my computer (window 7) send to c3220 12x18

i am not using the copier to do color copy

thank anyway---
problem found..
first time the problem light magenta scratch in black and white 100lb text
itb clean blade replace in 3 months, and found dirt can not blow out
