    IR4570 duplexing noise

The copy is not being routed correctly to the top of the S-1 finisher for inversion and crashes and curls up on itself without jamming, between the finisher and the delivery assembly. Again the machine is not jamming right now, even copying legal. Is one of the flappers not operating correctly? Thx

Thank you for the reply but the noise I am trying to describe is the paper crashing into a surface. The real problem is the paper not being routed correctly during two sided copying. The paper does not get routed to the guide on top of the finisher. Thx

If it wasn't routed to the proper path it would jam. Check all the black damper pads on the flappers even behind the big one on the door. But check duplex clutch too like teckat said. They squeak but also fail.

          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Thank you for all the helpful responses. I ran out of time and was able to take the whole 2nd,3rd delivery assembly from a parts machine and swap assemblies to fix this problem. I will have to trouble shoot the problem in that assembly later. Thx again.
