When doing a copy thru the dadf , the copy's text is about a 1/4" higher than original ...off the glass its perfect ....and the how to is :-)

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it....
and
if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

Try to adjust the pick up tray assy to higher position until you get the right Y axis

Or you can adjust the Y axis at service mode COPIER, ADJUST, ADJ-XY, ADJ-Y-DF to higher value until you get correct alignment.
