Hello all,
Is there a way I can check to see if my Canon imagerunner 2230 (not ADVANCE) has a network or printer upgrade?
It has a USB port and an ethernet port. Initially this copier was password protected through the System Manager and Department ID systems. I entered service mode and cleared the passwords. Unfortunately "Network Settings" doesn't seem available as it's not displayed in Additional Functions. Also I cannot get a computer to recognize it through a direct USB connection. All computers run Windows 7 Pro or Enterprise 64-bit. I have attempted to install print drivers such as PCL5 and URFII. During the USB connection portion of the install, the copier isn't recognized as being connected. The only option I have then is to cancel the install. I have tried installing the drivers using a "install legacy hardware" in Device Manager, but I get an error after I choose the INF file about it not being compatible with the device, although no device is highlighted.
Thanks in advance,
Kyle
