Re: not responding for the problems
Basically, you are 2 Fast 2 Furious. Slow down the pace, this is a forum thread that each & all is contributing on their spare time. Beside working / traveling, 8 hours of rest is still needed to re-charge body for everybody.
I do pose some issues up but I don't expect answer to be up the following day. The answers is always out there, it is only finding the correct one from the correct sites/manuals/gurus. -
Re: not responding for the problems
Forum contributors don't work for youthis is an assistance site, not a training vehicle. Many Contributors live in various time zones, work full time & don't have the time to stay up 24hrs. to monitor every ??? posted here.
Your job is to gain knowledge in field service, shop service, & personal time in studying manuals for the products you service.
If you don't want to put the time and effort of developing knowledge on the service end, u belong to that infamous job of a salesperson.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Re: not responding for the problems
Why is there a delay, because I have a life, a company to run, a wife, son and dog to keep happy, oh then there are the people who I try to help out for free, because that the way I am and to be far most people on this forum are..
Be grateful you get an answer, if you need a speeder response, theres always the SM, google, pay as you answers

Re: not responding for the problems
We tend not to answer questions that are readily available in the service manual. The lack thereof indicates to us you are not factory trained by Canon and those are the guys who make the rest of us look bad. my 2 cents.Comment

Do you think everyone here is waiting for you to answer your questions in 15 minutes? This site is about give and take, and after reading your posts, I think the only thing you want is to take...Comment

Re: not responding for the problems
I'll try to keep this constructive ...
I do not tend to answer posts in which the asking person has not done basic research, Basic research can mean looking up an error message, checking jam codes, doing basic investigating ... like that.
If you'd like an answer it would be a good idea to demonstrate that you have read the pertinent portions of the service manual, read the valuable posts already recorded at Copytechnet, and tried something to fix the problem.
This is the way many of us spend our limited leisure time. We cannot wait for you to post, then rush in to answer. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: not responding for the problems
In addition, there are problems posted here sometimes that really require help onsite. Explanations may be vague or some answers are hard to get across with a keyboard without it surpassing War and PeaceComment

Re: not responding for the problems
Yup, chances are nobody knows for sure yet.
Personally, I don't like interjecting on a thread just to say "i dunno", or worse, take it in a different direction and piss off the poster.
I love to answer when I know for sure, strokes our egos.
Just bump your post and/or rephrase the issue.Comment
