    Displayed When Sending Print Jobs

does printer come to READY & then go into waiting

or does the opening splash bar hang up & say please waiting

u just can't clear DCON without having a P PRINT with the DCON settings to put back in printer/

    do u have a Fiery connected ??
if so =Try re-seating the Open Interface Board

how old are the DRUMS ??
Check to see if the Fuser unit is coming up to temperature.
Then check to see if the drum unit(s)are not past the life expectancy.Replace the drum unit(s) if needed.

could be caused by a loss of communication between the DDI-S PCB Board to the Main Controller.

    remove memory & clean ends >then re-seat

      Hi,
      ==================
      Displayed When Sending Print Jobs
      • Displayed after reboot the startup .

does printer come to READY & then go into waiting
      • No still waiting

or does the opening splash bar hang up & say please waiting
      • No , the opening splash bar end and open new window then waiting to warm up

u just can't clear DCON without having a P PRINT with the DCON settings to put back in printer/

      • I print the p print before cleared the DCON but I cannot enter the service mode by *28*

do u have a Fiery connected??

      • Yes I have a fiery c1

if so =Try re-seating the Open Interface Board

      • I will try

      how old are the DRUMS??
      • All the drums counter are low reading

check to see if the Fuser unit is coming up to temperature.

      • I touched the fuser unit the temperature was high

Then check to see if the drum unit(s) are not past the life expectancy. Replace the drum unit(s) if needed.

could be caused by a loss of communication between the DDI-S PCB Board to the Main Controller.
      • I don’t think, because it was working before clear the DCON and MMI,

There was a problem in the copy or print out, a shadow of the letter in both mode, I changed the ITB but not solved, one of my friend suggest to clear the DCON and MMI , so I did

      remove memory & clean ends >then re-seat

      • I will try

      Thanks for your support

Have you set IMG-CONT back to 3 after doinging the performing the clear? do you have the printer tab on the top right of your screen?

Verify that the copier is set to 'imagePASS mode' (IMG-CONT = 3): 1. Enter Service Mode by hitting Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, and then Additional Functions.
        2. Select Copier > Option > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT.
        3. Set IMG-CONT to 3 and hit OK.
        4. Reboot the copier.
        * When IMG-CONT is set to 0, the copier is set to use the Canon Printer Kit controller. The Printer tab will not be displayed.
When IMG-CONT is set to 3, the copier is set to use the imagePASS controller. The Printer tab will be displayed.

            Hi,
I verified the IMG-CONT=3, it was the same value, but I press ok again, then restart the copier, then it work well.

Thank you Canon Tech and Teckat for your help
