iR 2018 Tearing Fuser Film.

Hi to all, I've this iR2018 tearing fuser films every about 10k copies. The second film so far! I can't figure out immediately what the problem is. Both the pressure plates and the pressure springs seem to be in their correct positions. I have noticed that the film tends to slide to one side...rear side of the fuser unit and somehow gets stuck? and then tears off. I did enough lubrication as far as I can recall. I haven't adjusted the pressure spring at all. It seem to be unequal pressure exerted on the film. I don't want to risk another fuser film before identifying the cause of the fault. For some reasons,(don't ask me why) I have been using generic film.

it's because 2 bushing on the lower pressure ....
you have to change it too , man

Like nochick said, it's the pressure roller bushings that are causing this fault. Had this issue before.

Well, thanks guys for the advice, makes a lot of sense to me. I will replace the pair of bushings on the machine, put it on test and post a performance feedback on this forum.
