Obviously its not the clutch. The front to rear misreg looks like a broken cassette.Process direction...... Firmware level? Sticky sound damper for pre-registration flag can cause this. Seen them stick on all Canon smaller boxes(3570,3025,3245,3380).Paper hits the sensor arm but doesn't actuate right away. Paper dwells for an instant. Peel the sound damper off. If still acting up, put in the newest firmware,p print, ram clear. Set cassette loop to about 80. Make sure machine has lower right door mods(inner guide and outer door, grey vertical rolls). And yes, reseat connectors for clutch and pre-reg sensor(at dcon and any intermediate connectors). Make sure ground clip on upper reg roll has continuity with roll. Clean it,reform it,put a dab of conductive grease on it

your problem is not the clutch unless you're feeding ltr-r. If it's LTR and X is off it's the tray which is broken.
