How much is an Original Nethawk cable worth to anyone? I'm thinking about switching to windows 7 for the work PC.

Really ? Canon is out of the new style. Mine is the non vista win 7 type.

NOTE:

if the original cable was replaced with a new NetHawk cable. Each NetHawk cable is a unique USB item. As a result, if you swapped NetHawk cables and are now using a new (replacement) NetHawk cable, please treat it like new hardware. Remove the 'NetHawk Device' item from Windows Device Manager and reinstall the NetHawk-10 driver from scratch with the new NetHawk cable connected to the USB port on the PC.


UPDATE:
USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4368-000) supports Windows Vista with Service Support Tool (SST) v4.22 or above.

USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4154-000) does not support Windows Vista regardless of the version of SST.

Cheaper to pick up a junk laptop running Windows XP on it than it is to get a new cable. I have an older spare laptop just for that purpose. Runs XP and payed 75 bucks for it
