No Paper Indication

Hi,
Help! After several attempts, including changing the complete left door/bypass, it shows no paper; when there is paper. Any suggestions please!.

What machine? Genetric help - Remove the draw in question, take a look at the rear, is the raising cog / device which raises the paper to the pickup / feed attached correctly?

Does the device copy / print from other trays?

Need to know model...if it is an advanced machine...5030,2030,etc...know issues with flakey(cheap) photo-interrupts on bypass tray. Don't sense paper inserted. Replace the photo-interrupt

It copies from other tray


It's IR2016. I've even changed the whole left door. But it still can't detect paper.
