I have the error code E0202-0101 on IRADVC5255 whenever the single pass DADF is used. Tried cleaning the CIS rail and lubricate without success. Having taken ADF covers off the copies did not throw up the code but noticed that the ADF pickup motor vibrates and its timing belt threw black dust under motor shaft. Have ordered the motor/belt and reader controller pcb just in case. Any known fix for this error code would be welcome from the top guys.

Reader Unit-B1 only)
Description Glass error when moving to the left side for HP check
operation
Remedy 1. Turn OFF and then ON the power.
2. Check the drive of Glass Shifting Motor. (Set the
service mode: FEEDER > FUNCTION > MTR-CHK > 7.
Then, set FEEDER > FUNCTION > MTR-ON.)
3. Check the flag position of Scanner Home Position
Sensor and Scanner Unit.
4. Replace the Reader Controller PCB

So your MFD is the E1, Correct?
There is E1 & F1 MFD

Glass Shift Control
This equipment has a scanning glass on the undersurface of the scanner unit.
A standard white plate is attached to this scanning glass for shading correction and dust
detection correction.
The Reader Controller drives the Read Motor (M3) on a timely basis to shift the canningGlass.
This enables the reader controller executing above-mentioned correction by comparing
reflection data between the position of standard white plate and the position for image
scanning.
Error code:
E202 (Error in scanner home position)
-0101 Error at the glass home position detection operation (outward)
-0102 Error at the glass home position detection operation (homeward)Comment
