    iR1023if jam 0104

    Hi,

iR1023if has both T1 and T2 configured for LTR and the customer wants the auto-continue mode.
The machine works fine if feeding from T1 and T2 individually; however, the moment T1 is empty and the machine is supposed to auto-continue to T2 the machine shows a false jam (Jam code 0104) and the pick up rollers in T2 fail to pick up the paper.

    Any ideas, please?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't have a manual for that machine to give you a whole lot but it sounds like machine doesn't recognize when tray 1 empties and tries to feed another sheet. Try in reverse order. Start machine with T1 out and reinstall after machine starts feeding from T2. Check and make sure you have a paper out sensor flag.

If APS/ADS is not enable,it just won't jump to that drawer to continue. It won't declare a jam. Not the issue. Re-install firmware and ram clear to start
