Canon IR 6000 cleaning roller problem:

My Canon IR 6000 cleaning web take-up roller does not turn.
Assuming I have installed it correctly, the empty, take up shaft is on the left and the Full, roller with clean web material is on the right. I removed the take-up shaft motor to check it out. The shaft it's self will not turn in either direction even with some force. For now I run a few thousand copies, then open up the fuser station and manually roll the dirty excess onto the take-up roller. Any suggestions on how to free up the motor driven take up roller?
    Thank you for your attention.

hi you should have the left shaft going underneath, also it is solonoid driven via 2 one way driven parts that can split so do not rotate, drive solonoid by hand to see one way parts turning shaft or not.

Could be the drive gears are all chewed up, if you will need to order new.

        Checked take-up roller feed.
Left, feed is Under, Right roller is Over.
Solenoid motor turns freely when removed from machine.
        Shaft does not.
I can hand operate the L-shaped lever that detects when the dirty roller is full and all the gears advance in small increments as they should but not the shaft even with the motor removed.
Too many small gears involved makes me nervous to try and remove the whole shaft.
