[CQ] Imagerunner 2525 Intermittent shading down the page

Have an almost new IR 2525 that has recently started shading down the length of one edge of the paper. It comes and goes and seems to be worse at the beginning of the day. Lasts for 15 to 20 pages and eventually fades away to a perfect copy/print again. Seems like a charge roller issue but have installed a new drum unit last week and the problem has returned. Cleaned the developer unit this morning but everything looked fine and couldn't recreate the problem.Any thoughts or ideas? Tech pubs etc etc.ChrisTJL Copy Products

what is your(printer)environment ? High or Low ?

is this on Glass Copies only // & or on Prints also ??

Did u check transfer roller ? > Primary charging roller ?
Did u inspect the toner brush on the Developer unit
Try to removing >& re seating all the connectors to the DC Controller

I inspected the Developer unit yesterday (though not disassembling it to the point of trying to inspect the brush as it is a new machine). The shading happens in both copy (off the glass or df) and in printing. Did not do anything with the laser as I can't see how anything with the laser would be self correcting. Charge roller is inside the drum unit which has been replaced with another OEM drum. Paper/Image transfer should cause light copy quality or image quality issues to the backside of the paper unless the laser hadn't dissipated the toner off of the drum in which case I'm not certain how this would be a come and go problem.Will try reseating DC controller connectors if problem continues. Machine is in a clean office (low use) environment and hasn't been moved since being placed new. Wondering now if power issues at the wall itself could be an issue though haven't seen any obvious drops.

Please arrange to check the drum grounding plate and replace it with a new modified plate if possible

Just close curtains. It will be OK. Outside light source is bugging this 25xx series.
