Customer has faint lines (lead to trail) when printing only. Doesnt happen on copies. they are 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart she says.....happens from more than all PC"s. Ideas? they are a good 1.5 hrs from here.

Not for sure of the driver used, but it is installed per PC and not to one and then shared. And I told wrong, it is Front to Rear. Don't know why I said lead to trail.

Have her print out a word doc & a pdf -- with differant drivers from PC

when I say internal report, I mean, at the copier. Had her go to add functions....report settings....print list....network.......report has lines....so don't believe now it is PC related. I'm gonna go out there mon morning and see what I can find out.

                  I see now

so internal test & pc prints have black lines
                  glass copy has no issue

Heading out there mon am. I realize she could be mistaken. I've had her test different methods whilst on the phone. It is a good drive so was getting a little input before I go....my first thought was the printer was printing from LTR drawer and copying from LTRr and streaks were on the edge but she says it ain't so and it covers the whole page....I will update .....

I have been to the customer and confirmed what she said....printouts have cross feed faint lines and actually some shading on the trail edge. The copies are clear. Printing an internal report.....fax data, etc has the lines....not on copies.....do a Dcon clear??
