    irc1022i, black toner not set properly

    Customer has a Canon IRC1022i - Just put in new OEM cartridge, now it says Black Toner Not Set Properly......any ideas? Not very familiar with this model.

    Not sure if this helps but Canon had a problem with Cartridges having a broken pressure spring. They corrected that problem but I had
    to modify a couple of them. A tab breaks off that holds that spring. I secured the spring with a screw that is near that spot. These
    were cartridges that were right out of the box.

      =====================================
      The machine detects the absence/presence of the cartridges by the load applied to the drum motors.
      If no or very little resistance is detected> That message could pop up

      Check the Left and Right Toner Lock Levers. If one or both of the levers are broken, replace them.
