    iR3300

Have one kicking my tail. It is putting some junk on the BACK of the copy. It is on the lead edge only and appears within the leading inch or so. Not a solid shadow, just kinda shading in Areas. If you do 2 sided, it is on both sides of course. One sided isn't such a big deal as they don't really notice the back. Happens on prints, internal reports, etc. I have replaced drum, dv unit. It doesn't really look like fuser junk to me, but could be wrong. Has anyone had a transfer roller cause issues like this?

trans roller or Lower fuser roller is worn. If the dev is leaking it'll leak right onto the trans roller

Drum ground, or developer spacers can do it too.

Meter the edge of the drum surface to the frame ground. 0.002 ohms for a good ground. Infinite for a bad ground.
Check developer spacers for cracks, flat spots, or seized bearings. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

thanks. I have replaced the dv unit with a known good one, so i guess that rules out the dev unit. the drum unit has also been replaced. maybe poor ground behind the unit??
I have done countless calls on these over the years and have never seen one do this. I have never had to replace a transfer roller as of yet. Don't think I have ever removed one.
I guess I will try a fuser next to rule it out. The manual has a pretty long process to remove the TX roller. Kinda crazy.

okay so I swap the entire fixing assembly, drum unit, Dev unit, transport bed complete with transfer roller, and the composite power supply...same problem! The image is the back of the paper. The image side is perfect. It its happening on the lead edge and its worse on the first few sheets of a run and gets slightly better. Two sided is showing on both sides of course....i cleaned the contacts on the rear frame and put in the specs for the replacement power supply also.
